The winners are The Busker who we will see at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in May in Semi Final 1 in the First Half. Radio International's JP was n Malta for the week and conducted interviews with all the artists that competed in the Semi Final and Grand Final. During the next weeks the interviews will be broadcast on the weekly editions of Radio International. This week the first interview from Malta is with the winners The Busker. Get to know the three members of the group and their music as well. Victor Crone (Melodifestivalen 2023 - Heat 1) with JP Interview with Victor Crone (Estonia 2019 and Melodifestivalen 2023):  It is Victor Crone's third attempt to win the ticket to represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. He previously represented Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 with the song "The Storm" coming 20th in the Grand Final of the contest. In 2023, he participated in Heat 1 of Melodifestivalen coming from Gothenburg with the song "Diamond" advanced to the Semi Final. JP had the pleasure to meet Victor before the live show and after for two interviews you hear on this week's edition of Radio International. Interview with Elov and Beny (Melodifestivalen 2023):  The other act that advanced from Heat 1 of Melodifestivalen 2023 in Gothenburg to the Semi Final is Elov and Beny who perform the song "Raggen går". JP had the pleasure to meet the newcomers to Melodifestivalen to chat with Elov and Beny about their participation and their music. The interview will also air on the show this week. Let 3 represent Croatia at Eurovision 2023 Interview with Let 3 (Croatia 2023): Croatia selected their entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 via DORA. The winner there was Let 3 who will represent Croatia with the song "Mama ŠČ!" in Semi Fianl 1 Fist Half. Radio International's Marc was on location and could meet the winning act right after their victory for a short interview on stage. EUROVISION 2023 - The National Final Season: The Most Wonderful Time of the Year has already begun - the selection process in various countries that are participating at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Livepool, United Kingdom on May 09, 11 and 13 for the Grand Final. In the run up to the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience will be playing many of the songs that are offered to the public in the many participating countries out of which the best ones will be competing in Liverpool in May. Belgium had five Song Club Shows out of which the Grand Final emerged and was held on 14 January 2023 with Gustaph being the winner. The song was written by Stef Caers (Gustaph) and Jaouad Alloul. The Interview Team of Radio International is delighted to welcome Gustaph to the show to get to know him and his music better. Listeners are encouraged to actively take part during the show to submit their questions to the artist via our Facebook Chatroom during the live broadcast on Wednesday evening from 1900 - 2300 hours CET or via our website's email address - click here.    Spain's National Final 2023 - The Benidorm Festival 2023 and Interviews with Agony, Aritz and Fusa Nocta: Since 2022 Spain selects their entry to the Eurovision Song contest via the two Semi Finals and a Grand Final in the Benidorm Fest. The first winner was in 2022 when Chanel won the Benidorm Fest 2022 with the song "SloMo" which turned out to be a great success at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin coming third in the Grand Final. Two Team Members of Radio International were invited by the municipality of Benidorm to report from the festival and conduct interviews with the participating artists. Salman and Rafia were on location to get to know the city of Benidorm as well as bringing the artists closer to the fans with the interviews that were done. On the show this week Radio International is devoting an hour to the Benidorm Festival 2023 when Salman joins JP to share the experience with the listeners but also we'll hear the interview with the winner Blanca Paloma who will be representing Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with the song "Eaea". Since Spain is part of the Big 5 they are directly qualified for the Grand Final of the contest. Further there will be interviews with Agony, Aritz, Fusa Nocta, Megara and Vicco, among others.
