On the 30. August 2022 Pussy Riot were scheduled to perform on the Teichbühne at the Mühle Hunziken in Rubigen. Controversy ensued, as they painted an «Anti-War»-graffity on a wall near the hotel they were staying in and got arrested in Bern the night before the show. After their powerful performance I managed to have a conversation with Mascha, one of the Pussy Riot activists, that famously spent two years in a Russian prison camp.
